I find the Average PMPM Lag method interesting because it offers a different way to approach IBNR calculations than completion factors, development methods, or BF. I’d be interested in hearing from anyone who has used it in practice and can share how the results compare with more traditional approaches. The idea of testing different methods reminds me of Slope Rider, where adapting your approach can make a big difference.
