I was struggling with this in the mobile site, apparently the mobile site doesn’t have the banner at the top with the links.  If you’re on the desktop site, there’s a “profile” link at the top.

Even if you go to the http://www.casact.org/user/profile in a mobile browser, it fails, so must be a mobile site thing.

Completely agree. I was very transparent in my response to that suggestion.

Got another ATT as well. Booked St Louis, 5 days after my original date. Was hoping for Indianapolis, but I could only find times before my original date that would leave me with even LESS study time after I’ve now killed a couple days figuring out this nonsense.

Was also hoping for an afternoon appointment so I wouldn’t have to drive before dawn or stay overnight, but unfortunately none were available. So 2.5 hour drive with a hotel stay, fun fun. Remind me why we can’t take this thing actually remotely like the CAS promised?

@user056 Interesting. I’m also worried that the CAS will mess this up, since I never actually got an email from them like others did. I’ve only gotten the Pearson email that it was canceled, and another one yesterday afternoon with a new ATT. Will not be surprised at all if there are more missteps…

@user056 – did you have to do anything to see additional dates? I got a new ATT yesterday afternoon, but no change to my Pearson availability.

Nope, that’s what I was told when I called this morning. Then got a late email reply that I mentioned earlier; suggested booking out of state which is just a pitiful look for a professional organization. Unfortunately, just “wait and see” time.

I can blame CAS. Yes, it’s unprecedented, but the fact that there is spotty communication, at best, and we’re forced to learn all of this through the grapevine is a serious failing. They have a website where they can post information. This is absolutely ridiculous. I don’t blame them for the situation, but I 100% blame them for poor communication, a reckless and irresponsible stance, and the general cluster we find ourselves in.

Well, got an email back saying the window will close on the 31st and won’t be changed, and they actually encouraged booking in another state if you want to take it now. Unbelievable. Literally unbelievable that they’re encouraging interstate travel in a pandemic.

I didn’t get an email, but got a response to the email I sent them in which I was told that I did get an email (not in inbox, spam folder, anywhere).

Called and was told they’ll be actually opening Pearson up for Dec 9-31 “in the next 1-2 days”. But…what is that going to do? Ok, they canceled my appointment on the 7th because cases are skyrocketing. Do we really think the 9th, the 15th, the 30th will be better?

This is a non-solution. And still garbage communication. I only got that information because I called and it’s incomplete at best.

I did ask “what if they cancel all December appointments” and was told basically “you’ll get an email”.

Ugh I didn’t hear that about the 30th. What are we supposed to do in the meantime? Study with no idea when our exam will actually be?

COMMUNICATE, it’s not difficult. I don’t care if you don’t have all the answers, give us SOMETHING.

Same here, was hoping for some actual information, but looks like just a repeat of the original email with the same exam dates.

Anyone else extremely frustrated that there is ZERO communication from the CAS? No email responses, no posts on the website… Completely understandable that you have to figure out a game plan, but how about a post of “Hey everyone, we know there are issues right now, sit tight and we’ll figure it out”. I know people that have rescheduled for exam centers over 6 hours away. A little leadership and communication would go a long way.
