I just noticed something interesting, the grade report seems to have a column for a grade and another for a numeric score. I wonder is they will post a % mark now too.

No. Grade means Pass or Fail. Numeric is 0-10.

Not sure if anyone remembers the year they uploaded grades over the weekend and someone found a hyperlink to see your grades early. That was the one time I knew my grade in advance and had no stress leading up to results. Picturing some random admin feverishly working to upload transcripts for 1,500+ candidates across five exams. I wonder how much quicker it’d be if those who got a zero never had their transcript updated.

They used to access the database directly. That year people changed the URL to look at old exam passes and yes they had a predated grade. Remember in the past it said just pass or fail.

I believe they changed the system so it didn’t access the database. I don’t believe you will see the grades early because it was changed.

You may see grades come in ten or fifteen minutes before the email on release date. Hence all the F5ing.

I’m thinking this Thursday, we get an email saying results will come out the following Thursday. Fingers crossed.

That is possible.  Btw from the my exam screen it will say pass and it will also show the additional exam if you passed it.  It just won’t have the grade.

how cool would it be if they upload the grades before they hide the grade report icon

So we’re thinking 28th for the results? Nice

Anywhere from 28th to like February 10th seems possible…

I don’t know why, but I tried to fit a log normal distribution to this, I used mu=2.6, and sigma=.3393, with an expected value of 14.26 days, and SD of 5 days. The mode is right around 12 days (Thursday the 28th). Originally I tried to set the expected value to be 12 days (with a SD around 7 days), but it would assign too much probability to lower values (e.g results in less than 12 days) which is really unlikely. With this distribution, there is a less than 19% change the result will come out in less than 10 days, and 37% change the result will come out in less than 12 days.

Why am I doing this? To procrastinate of course… Anyone that’s not studying got a better distribution? It’s a shame, there are so many distributions out there, and I am not familiar with most of them…

I’m going with the 28th. Your analysis pretty much corroborated my gut feel.

Just reread. I guess I’m on the low end but sticking with the 28th either way. Thanks CAS for turning us into deranged speculators. Lol

Why is everyone so pessimistic it will be sooner?

The staff is probably worn down from all the calls they’re getting asking about results. I doubt that’s the reason but who knows. We’re all speculating at this point.

Do your companies backdate your raises (to exam date) when you pass. I guess if they don’t, release date matters more to you

The more significant question is, if you end up studying for the wrong exam, do you lose your company paid study time?
