I cannot find it anywhere I looked for.
One question about the latest version of the study kit. It looks like the tables “state rating values” that should be after the appendix in the NCCI rating manual are missing.
Anyone else having this issue?
They said more news coming next week, so I guess we will know. It’s unbelievable that traveling is encouraged given the situation. I cannot get my head around it
As of this morning I received another authorization to test with the extended window.
The only available date I could find is December 2 at a test center in Indiana. I’m in Chicago and it is about an hour drive away. At this point given the situation I’m considering myself luckyIt looks like so. If you see any availability after 12/9 it means that you have access to the extended window. I just do not understand who, in the right state of mind, would encourage traveling out of state in this conditions. And knowing that this comes from a professional organization, it is just mind boggling. I know that so many other actuarial societies have done remote tests from home. Is that so hard for the CAS?
They said they would extend the window up until 12/31 and that we should have gotten an email in the next 1-2 days. This is what I was told yesterday. As of now still nothing, and I doubt they will send instructions on Thanksgiving. Does anyone have any other news?
Yes, I did receive it. The last date on the email is December 9 but there is nothing available on the Pearson VUE website
Hi, same here. I am in Chicago and I was supposed to take the exam December 1. It has been moved to December 31.
You can reschedule to another date or another test center. Unfortunately no test centers or dates are available anymore. I called the CAS and they said that further communications will follow. This exam session has been a disaster
