Some people don’t mind the wait, but me I guarantee it bothers me more than like 99% of the testers.

Nevermind that we are living in a world of instant gratification. That surely doesn’t help.

Me too. I’d rather know I failed right away. At least then you can move on and prepare. Something you can do with motivation.

If I were in charge I’d release the 0-4s early and make everyone else wait till the release date

Too bad you can’t be part of  marking if you wrote in last 2 years while the feelings are still fresh.

And I want to get into Actuarial Ed hence the userid. So I won’t be on the exam committee

I like the 0-4 idea. I mean if someone failed from the jump and their papers aren’t even being considered in “Vegas”, why make them wait? You don’t even need to update their transcripts. Just sent them an email saying they got between 0-4 and your fail report is forthcoming.

They have to do something to lower travel time.

I think I heard they’re trying to do the opposite.

Of course they are trying to extend travel time. Can’t have too many qualified people in the CAS now.

No one really knows how the keystone project requirement will affect travel time.

I think I’ll go ahead and define it on my own. It’s what’s going to make me put 500+ hours in next sitting (if I have to) in order to prevent me from having to start all over with whatever sweeping syllabus and requirements changes they have lined up in their back pockets. One thing I’ve learned about the CAS is that they’re a fly by night organization. For all we know, they’ll end up being a requirement this fall.
