Yes to both questions, but I doubt anything will come of it…
These Official Grade Reports they just mailed us can’t possibly be the “new fail analysis reports” they mentioned, right? Because that would be a joke.
Because candidates will be completing different forms of their exam in the future, it will not be possible to establish a single pass mark for each exam. Therefore, pass marks for CAS exams will no longer be published. Certain other statistics, such as the percent of candidates that pass, will continue to be published.

haha same here, residual
I would guess it will be around the same time as the comprehensive grade reports; mid-February.
I’m dying to know what the pass ratio is. The last two sittings were over 50%. It should again be over 50%, considering we had more time to study and the CBT testing environment was more efficient than pencil and paper. If the CAS can set a pass ratio of 28.6% for Exam 5 F2019 because candidates did worse than an average year, they most certainly should raise the pass ratio for a sitting where candidates performed better than average.
You can add me to the list of candidates who walked out of the exam super confident, just to end up with a 5…
I’m really curious what the pass rate will be. Are they not releasing that anymore?
