Still grading. Sigh.
I’ll believe it when I see them publish an update.
Exactly.
That’s the reason they get away with this cause no one wants to challenge the status quo. It is what it is.
Yeah thats all I’m saying. My comment is strictly on the May exam window – not on the volunteers. Sorry if my last post came off that way.
Your guess is very plausible. Not sure why no one finds it troubling that the CAS always makes their problems our problems. I’m thankful to all the volunteers for what they do but their work obligations shouldn’t be putting our credentials and career advancement at stake.
It’s not about grading at this point. Since we’re not going to get results till possibly mid February, that’s now less than three months to prepare for May. I’m fine if they take their time since that’s what they decided on but should that be our problem?
Ok fair enough. Any particular reason for your opinion?
The fact that the graders have no idea why there’s a delay shows you how much of a joke this organization is, if we can even call them that.
Petition is the word I was looking for.
When you think of it, even if the 5/6s get their answer later, by definition they will know they’re on the fence so they should have no issues deciding whether they should start studying or not cause they know exactly where they stand.
Yeh, the 7+ crew could definitely be notified early as well.
The way I see it, the 5s are closer to passing. Yes, they’ll wait a little longer but they’ll also need less time to study for the next sitting.
In either case, re-grading would only be for those who are on the 5/6 line (a fraction of the original cohort) so that’s not an excuse either.
Also, if I recall correctly, one of the seeling points they communicated for TBE was “faster grading”. I’ll double check on that but I’m almost sure.
Which brings me to my previous point. If they knew that the test window was extended to 12/31, why didn’t they postpone the next sitting? I’m sorry but “people being on summer vacation” isn’t a good enough excuse.
