Speaking of old exams being easier, I love it when I get to the True/False questions when I do the exercises.
I bet there weren’t any guessing penalties then either.

Are upper level SOA exams also written based? I wonder how hard SOA tries to put a ceiling on the number of admitted FSA’s.
        Something tells me they don’t

I do agree, it would be nice if Exam 7 and 9 are also offered in Fall 2021. given Spring 2020 was entirely skipped.

Well i commend your bravery 😀

I’ve always wanted to try doubling up but never did.

Hopefully you got one at least.

Wow all three in one window. How fried did you feel after taking all three? Anyone in your company opposed that idea?

Resact26, which exams do you have left before FCAS? Given how 7-9 are offered only once a year, do you attempt each time they’re offered instead of waiting a full year to take what you failed?

Have never taken exam 6 yet but maybe exam 6 has gotten easier because there is shortage of ACAS? but those that make it to ACAS get to FCAS relatively easily?

Not sure why Exam 6 has gotten easier but 7 and 8 got harder. Interesting.

Didn’t we hear exams were administered into January?

Why does it feel like it’s been two months since I took the exam? 😀

Also why do I feel like CAS is going to surprise us and release the grades within the next two weeks?

They might surprise us but I think it would be great if they can get the results by mid to end of February.

There is no way they have graded anything or even started yet given the recent holidays.

Although I didn’t have a big issue I did notice there was a lag whenever I clicked “next” to the next question. In the beginning the lag was like 2 seconds which feels like forever during an exam.

I had to click “back” and “next” several times to see if the lag caused me to lose time but I believe the time also paused at the start of the lag and resumed when the lag went away thankfully.

Sorry to hear you had to go through the technical issue, really sucks. I really have no idea how CAS will handle this window situation. It’s a difficult time for everyone and no one can win here.

I wonder how many had technical difficulties. You can’t be the only one.

This whole not-releasing exams, and no instant result is making me feel anxious.

Fee for the exam went up to $725. Interesting.

How did exam 9 compare to exam 7 from your experience? A lot of people have said exam 9 is the easiest out of the three post ACAS exams. I’m interested to hear your thoughts.

I’m also curious how many people doubled up this Fall. Would love to see a distribution of people that doubled up and how many of them end up passing/failing the exams they took

Thanks. If I could get one paid study aid, what would you recommend? I’m leaning TIA.
