I imagine the spring sitting is going to be the last sitting before large adjustments are made to the exam (length, difficulty, etc) from now being CBT. So whoever is studying hard for the Spring sitting may be in luck in my opinion.
I’m annoyed by how Exam 7 and 9 aren’t offered in Fall 2021. SOrry I just felt like venting here for a bit 😀
I have a feeling this has to do with everyone just doing well on this sitting. Everyone had a year and had the advantage of taking the exams on a computer.
Normally, you may have done well enough to secure a 6,7 or even an 8 but because there were people that did better, these scores were lowered down to 5 after curving.I felt so uneasy after coming out of the exam because I thought I did well but it made me think how easy it must have been for everyone.
With these exams, it’s not about how well you did in general, it’s about how well you did relative to others.same got 7! passed!
Yeah CAS Is trolling. They meant AM not PM.
I’m scared. Someone hold me.
Would love to see you guys in person one day 😀
Yeah it’s not going to be effective. The only way CAS would take it seriously is if a significant number of current candidates sign the petition but it won’t garner that many. Also, it appears CAS has accepted that its priority is to bring May Spring sitting and October Fall sitting back into their normalcy at the cost of messed up Spring 2021 sitting.
CAS isn’t going to budge.
If you guys could pick between finding out the result instantly, versus finding out the result several weeks later but with a slightly higher chance (maybe .5 point added to your total score) of passing what would it be?
😀
Since we seem to be anxious about this, I thought I ask this pointless question. XD
lol I love it when a joke flies over someone’s head.
Yeah maybe in the future they might make people give an hour long presentation in front of the committee like a PhD dissertation style as a requirement for FCAS
COVID could have even helped some people honestly. Those that lost time from commuting to work, and had the convenience of working from home prob had more time for studying.
I hate feeling 50/50. I failed 4 times throughout this process and all of them I felt 50/50 and got 5’s.
This fall 2020 sitting I feel a bit better than 50/50, more like 60/40, but this is a unique sitting in that, everyone was given a year to study and made writing easier with typing on keyboard…so this is making that 60/40 back into 50/50 haha.Try not to play everything in your head before it happens. 😀
If you’re anxious about this now, i can’t imagine how you will feel near the end of January and closer to February.Im pretty sure the score is right at the page once you go in. You seem to be really anxious about this 😀
Grades could be out as early as early Feb! *Feeling anxiety building.
